We have installed many types of boilers but have a few standard boilers that we stick with because we know these are the best for our customers. We are also able to know everything about these boilers and have replacement parts available. Our hydronic systems can also be heated with a wide variety of energy sources; including standard natural gas, oil, geothermal, wood or coal fired boilers. Solar panels can also be very easily adapted to our system, ask us how.
Platinum: Trinity Lx Boiler
The Lx boiler is similar in many ways to the Trinity Ti boiler except for a few distinct features. The Lx has efficiencies up to 98% and industry-leading modulation rates of up to 8:1. The level of customization is really handy (the installer has the ability to control when the boiler fires and for how long, modulation rates etc.), making each boiler customized to that individual project; long gone are the days of one size fits all. The most visual difference would be the large 6″ touch screen display that shows what the boiler is doing currently and in the past(how many times the boiler has fired etc.). Other features like the extensive diagnostic and trouble shooting, plug in module card(downloads installers personal settings instantly), password protected settings, outdoor sensor, spark ignition with dual electrodes, condensate drain with no moving parts, exhaust and intake air on top of boiler and large accessible areas making installing the Trinity Lx convenient and reliable to install.
Gold: Trinity Ti Boiler
The Trinity Ti is similar to the Lx but without the fancy features mentioned above and more affordable to the average homeowner, no wonder the Trinity Ti is our most popular boiler. The Ti still has an advanced ignition system with a top-quality heat exchanger with an efficiency of 93%. The sophisticated heat exchanger provides virtually endless hot water, reliable service and does not use aluminum but is constructed totally from stainless steel, which is a proven material for condensing appliances. All combustion air is drawn from outside, used for combustion and then expelled eliminating any need for combustion air, thereby decreasing heating costs. These high efficient boilers have modulating gas valves(modulates from 25,000 BTU to 150 or 200,000 BTU) , which throttles the gas intake to the burner because boilers are designed for the coldest day of the year but we need them in the spring, fall and summer as well. The modulation of the boiler is achieved by using an outdoor sensor which senses the temperature outside.
Silver: Noritz Condensing Instantanious Water Heater
Instantaneous water heaters have improved dramatically in the last few years and the Navien water heater proves that. The Navien is similar in ways to the Trinity as it has an outdoor sensor, stainless steel heat exchanger, condenses, sealed exhaust/intake air and highly efficient. This is perfect for a smaller house that would like to benefit from in-floor heating but would like an efficient hot water maker as well. A comparison of water heaters would show that a Navien makes hot water at 97%, a hot water maker (runs off a boiler) at 93% and a standard gas fired tank at 60%-65%.
